Dr. Falchuk gave me the best treatment and care. He really listened to my concerns and worked professionally and seamlessly to help me. I have been in remission for multiple years now due to his help!

Not thorough. Did a few tests and told me to return in 6 months.

Best doctor

Had an endoscopy with Dr. Falchuk yesterday. This man has negative bedside manner. Very cold, not friendly at all. I almost got up and left, but the nurse was very compassionate and understood my concerns. She said he was a good doctor, but can be very short. That's an understatement! After the procedure, he came in for literally 10 seconds to explain the results. Take my advice, have someone else do your procedures at the BI, not this guy.

While I don't disagree with others that Dr. Falchuk is smart, I don't like his bedside manner at all. He rushes my teenager and I out as soon as he can to get to the next patient...He performed a colonoscopy and since that was normal he couldn't come up with a reason for my daugher's episdoses of gastric distress, nausea and vomitting. Prevacid was prescribed and told me to talk to our pediatrician. He literally got up and said schedule a follow up and I'll see you then and left. 5 minutes in his office!!! He dictates into a phone, you have to listen to him repeat himself and then have it dictated back...and that was part of our 5 minutes. My daughter was disgusted and said forget him, let's go back to our old GI doctor who was better. (We only went to him for a 2nd opinion). Would never go back.

I have been going to Dr. Falchuk for over 30 yrs and he is the best GI doctor around. My daughter who has recently developed Gastroparesis now goes to him. I would have it no other way. He had her tested w/i a week and diagnosed. He listens and let patients talk. He is extremely knowledgeable.

As a mother of teen with serious GI symptoms, I looked for shorter wait time in specialist referral. I called with report of recurrent episode. Office was able to fit us in sooner than expected. Dr. Falchuck is kind, thorough, clear communicator, and reassuring. He is tops!

There is no doubt that Dr. Falchuk is extremely knowledgeable in the field, as well as very concerned with the welfare of his patients.However, in my situation, I was led to believe that my situation would improve as long as I took the medication and followed the lifestyle guidelines.After an extended time, and multiple variations in both dosage levels and manufacturer of medications, there hasn't been improvement.Getting a second opinion. Maybe something could have been overlooked, not necessarily by Dr. Falchuk, perhaps in the lab or some related processing.

Dr. Falchuk is a very Professional Doctor , He answered all my phone call in less than 5 minutes. Dr. Falchuk Knows very well what he is doing, and he always explain to me about my Colitis situation. DOCTOR YOU ARE BEST.

After extensive research and multiple recommendations, I sought the expertise of Dr. Falchuk for the diagnosis of my GI situation.Dr. Falchuk was extremely efficient in arranging for the initial testing. The results warranted a prescription - the drug being something I could buy OTC.I was assured my situation was mild, as opposed to grave.2 weeks later, no real change in my condition. I was directed to bump up the prescription to twice a day. Went in for the obligatory follow-up 6 weeks after the testing, relayed the fact that these drugs weren't doing anything for me in my opinion, received a new prescription for another drug.9 weeks from the initial diagnosis, I still feel no real difference in my condition. I am ingesting these drugs, enduring the lifestyle changes, praying that my condition will improve, and spending an inordinate amount of time on 'diagnose-myself.com' trying to figure out what is the root of the issue.Although my situation is not grave, it has in fact turned my… life upside-down.Bottom line is that I am seeking second opinions. The whole point of seeing Dr. Falchuk, instead of any less-esteemed GE specialist, was to get some answers, get over the situation, and get on with my life. I wish this were the case.
