A great Doctor. Anyone who read the garbage about Dr Fishberger some time ago in the papers, neglected to tell everyone that the picture they used of him was from the Newsday archives when Dr Fishberger received the Theodore Roosevelt Award in 2006 for his DISTINGUISTED SERVICE to Mather Hospital for 25 years!!!!! Great Staff and probably one of the 'BEST" Doctors you will ever encounter. Very caring atmosphere which is very refreshing.

Bring something to read if you want to use this doctor. There is none better, but neither he nor his staff seem to care about the wait. Like an airline, they overbook on a regular basis. However, there is no better doctor anywhere.

Dr. Fishberger HE'S THE BEST THERE IS. He is on of the most intelligent, caring physicians I have had in my life time. At the beginning of his private practice my mother was one of his first patients, he gave us the gift of 8 more years with my mother and for that reason I will be forever grateful.As for ease of getting an appointment-nowadays it's almost non-existent, the office is always trying to get you to see his PA.I would highly recommend Dr. Fishberger to anyone looking for a well educated, intelligent physician on LI. He's the best.

Dr. Fishberger is the absolute best. From the time he walks into the examining room you can feel confident that whatever is ailing you, or whatever problem you made an appointment with him for, will be diagnosed or solved. His beside manner is beyond caring, you are never rushed during an office visit or hospital visit. Every aspect of your care and his diagnosis is explained in detail and he has a sense of humor. Follow up visits are scheduled before you leave. If you're looking for the best, he is it.
