He helped guide me through treatment for prostrate problem and correction.

Treated me and did surgery for my prostate surgery. Was very informative and skilled. Was real pleased with Dr Fitzpatrick. Follow up care was excellent. I would recommend him as a very competent surgeon to my family and friends.

I have a history of stone formation. Had a 15mm cal-ox stone when I saw Fitz. His advice was 2-3 liters water/day, to stay away from 8-10 high-oxalate foods and to add "a little citric acid to water. 4yrs later I developed another 10mm stone. ESWL was delayed because I'm on blood thinners for coronary stents. 6 months later I now have a 15, 10, and 5mm stone. Figured out that it's impossible to avoid oxalate but I should b limiting to 50-100mg/day w/ 1000mg of calcium and .5 cup of citric acid. Way easier to manage nutrition which these guidelines. Half cups of Oatmeal, berries and carrots and I'm at my daily limit. Wish f'n Fitz would have taken 30 second the share with me. Fitz, if ur reading this, u know who I am . I can't have surgery for another 8 months and I'll be cursing you every day until I get play this. if I lose a kidney, I blame you.

This Doctor should win an award for urologist if the year. He put my mom and myself at ease during a very scary initial visit. His wonderful personality and bedside manner made us feel like we have known him forever. You don’t find doctors anywhere like this anymore. ??

I've made seven phone calls over 2 weeks to Fitzpatrick's office attempting to get a prescription refilled. Forget about talking to a live person -- no one ever picks up -- call has to be left on voice mail -- I received one call back -- staff member advised would call in requested prescription -- never happened -- agree that staff is rude (when you can reach them!)

Dr. Merriam is clinically excellent and, additionally, attentive. He was knowledgable as well as concise and deliberate in his treatment plan and I enjoyed his humor. He helped me to remain calm during my ordeal and was very supportive. I would recommend him to my friends and family. Thank

Overall disaster from start to finish. Staff is rude from the minute you walk in the office and again when you're leaving. Fitzpatrick is unprofessional, uses inappropriate language and terms that make you feel uncomfortable. A urologist is someone you must feel confident and comfortable with, so find a urologist other than Fitzpatrick. Even after you've been treated rudely by the staff, unprofessionally by the doctor, your Dr. Fitzpatrick experience isn't over until you get with his incompetent billing department. There are too many good doctors around to put up with this type of experience, go somewhere else.
