Dr. Kenneth V Gatto, DO

I didn't know I was sick. It was all out of the blue for me. I was terrified. Dr. Gatto was exactly the doctor I needed just then. He educated me on my own condition and gave me the tools and understanding to feel confident living a normal life. He listened to me, answered all my questions, no matter how long it took. He treated me with respect, and truly made me feel like we were part of the same team. I'd have been so lost without his kindness and guidance. He gave me my life back.

Wait time was great and the office seemed fine. But as soon as I saw Dr. Gatto he seemed very put out and said he didn't see regular patients only consults. When I tried to explain to him my condition and what I needed he got flustered. When he looked at my prescriptions he said he didn't know what fonsinopril / monopril was. I told him it was part of the standard of care and I'd been on it for 5 years. He says "slow down" and that the standard of care says I should be on an ACE inhibitor. I said, "It is an ACE inhibitor." He didn't know that nor did he bother to look up the drug. He said, "Well, I don't know what that is so I'm going to prescribe you this other (expensive) drug." I say, "No, I think I want to stay on the fosinopril." The guy looked like no one had ever said no to him in his life. "WHAT?" he asks. "No, I want to stay on the fosinopril." And he refused to write a prescription for it, so I said, "Okay, we're done here." If you're on fosinopril, don't see… this guy. If you aren't, I'd avoid him anyway, because he's clearly an arrogant type.

Dr. Gatto wanted to put a pace maker in for what turned out to be an allergic reaction to something I had eaten.

This doctor is mean to his staff and everyone in the office seems unhappy. He seems fine until you ask him any questions or want to know what is going on with you as a patient.
