Dr. Kenneth Albert Giles, MD

Dr Giles is an excellent radiologist. He explained everything on my mammogram to me so that I could understand it. He was very kind, patient and knowedgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone for care. BTW, I had no problems with his billing company, which has nothing to do with his medical care or skills.

For four months they sent my mail to the wrong address. When they finally called me, I asked them where they were sending it. Woman on the phone implied it was my fault and said, "well people NORMALLY give mail back when its not theirs". Found out they had failed to bill my insurance carrier (we use the Blue Cross Network but are private pay) They were repeatedly billing Blue Cross/Blue Shield. After a LITERAL hour on the phone, where they promised they understood, I then had to have our HR manager call them. When I finally got a correct bill, I paid it. Only to find out TWO & A HALF YEARS LATER that they put a $3 finance charge on my credit report. I HATE THESE GUYS. THEY ARE MORONS. While the doctors are awesome, I will find another provider, just because their billing group is so bad.

Went to ER for breathing problems, have good insurance. I don't recall getting bill for $16 but sent to collections and no way to pay over phone just recorded messages. Chest x ray in ER who knows what it revealed.

I had multiple ultrasounds done that had prior authorization and I have been trying to get out of collections for 2 years. The billing department is back east and is completely incompetent. I would be prepared to cash pay for all your radiologist reads even if you have insurance because i am sure they will mess up your billing too

I received an injection into a joint. Dr. Giles summarized what he was going to do, then at each step explained what he was doing. He was easy to talk with and answered my questions thoroughly. The shot was successful, (so far) and everything he said would happen during the 48 hours after the shot, did in fact happen. The procedure took place at Summit Healthcare, not his office. I would definitely recommend Dr. Giles.

Ken is great with regular people. He can break down the medical mumbo jumbo to real words that folks can understand. Some times he's a little bussy due to the hospital structure but he never fails to give his full attention to his patients when he walks into the room. I trust him. I asked him to read my radiology exams.
