Dr. Kenneth Paul Glassman, MD

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and came to Denver Arthritis & Dr Glassman for a 2nd opinion. He was the first in a long time to actually listen to me, take down and keep record of, and remember me. My life has improved so much since seeing him. I have HOPE. Dr Glassman is like a detective - he takes risks and tries treatments, and if you've been elsewhere you'll think you've gone rogue or gone to heaven. But the key is - Glassman does not give up. Nurse Shannon does a great job communicating and they are a solid team. Finally, I have to mention that at Denver Arthritis they can run DEXA, X-ray, labs... No going to other places on different days.

I have been a patient of Dr. Glassman since 1992. He is an exceptional doctor and is someone I refer my family and friends to. We need more doctors like Dr. Glassman. He also has an exceptional team at his office.

I have been seeing Dr. Glassman since 1998 for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and have nothing but praise for him. Through all the years, he has been caring, supportive, and attentive. He really does listen and he can speak about my care in plain English. Together, we have tried many treatments - most to no avail. He's held my hand, handed me tissues to wipe away tears, and rejoiced with me when we finally find a medication that is beneficial. Someone asked me not long ago why I didn't get a second opinion. I asked her why I would do that when I was receiving treatment from someone whom I trusted completely. If you are looking for a rheumatologist, you could not do better than choose this one.

I started seeing another rheumatologist for about 9 months, but I wasn't getting any better. I finally decided to see Dr. Glassman to get a second opinion. What a difference!! Dr. Glassman spent a great deal of time with me, ran some tests that the other doctor never bothered to order, requested records, and made a completely different diagnosis. I am certain he is correct, because with different treatment I am finally starting to feel a little better. I really appreciate Dr. Glassman's skills as a physician, his kindness, and the way he LISTENS to his patient. The office staff is great as well, and anyone who has had to schedule and wait at labs and other offices for blood work and xrays will be thrilled to know that Dr. Glassman's office is equipped to do all of that in their own office during your visit. I will never go back to the other specialist now. I'll be seeing Dr. Glassman as long as he is willing to see me. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a good… rheumatologist.
