Dr. Kenneth E Hollingsworth

Thirteen years ago I gave birth to my son in Seaford, DE. To say it was a difficult was an understatement, after 26 hours of labor I was taken for a cesarean section and Dr. Hollingsworth was the Anesthesiologist on staff that night. After being taken to the delivery room the nurses and OB on call were in a hurry to get it over with and seemed less than concerned with the fact that my epidural was not fully effective. Dr. Hollingsworth immediately put me under General Anesthesia after he walked into the OR to find me very distraught and also in pain. He not only checked up on me after I had woken up but made it a point to come to the OB floor the next day and make sure I was okay. His bedside manner and professionalism made such an impression on me that to this day if i ever have to have surgery I tell the Anesthesiologist about my previous experience with Dr. Hollingsworth. I also have decided after staying at home with my son most of his life to continue my education by working… towards a DNP specializing in Anesthesia. Even after almost 14 years an experience with a practitioner such as Dr. Hollingsworth can still have a profound effect.
