Dr. Kenneth Todd Horlander, MD

Horlander and Whitley are the worse. They do not care about how you feel and what makes you better. Why bother going to them if they do not listen to you and do not want to help you. He tells you to wear oxygen all the time but then says you do not qualify. Laurie the nurse is great other than that i would never recommend him to anyone

I was diagnosed in an emergency admittance at a hospital in Columbus, GA with Abestotis - was told it was massive and I had to get under treatment immediately. We live in LaGrange and have been patients at Emory Clark Holder for years (me 9 years, my husband much longer). We chose to contact Dr. Horlander's office since I had been treated there 4 years earlier (under a different doctor) and that office would have those results to compare with the CAT scan, etc I had at the Columbus hospital. I had to fight to get a referral and when that finally happened I was told that Dr Horlander could not see me until mid April. I explained the situation and finally got them to agree that if I would have the films and report sent from the Columbus Hospital that Dr. Horlander would review them and make a decision as to whether it was an emergency or not. I immediately had those sent to his office. Meanwhile I had a call from the hospital Case Worker reminding me how serious this diagnosis is and… that I had to get under treatment immediately or my life would be at risk. I told her what was happening and she volunteered to contact Dr. Horlander's office and expain and see if there was anything that could be done. She was informed that they didn't care and it was going to be mid-April and there wasn't anything anybody could do about it. I have since changed the doctor that will treat me and they are working very hard to get me in ASAP. I will never recommend this doctor for anything and I will do my best to tell as many people as I can about the treatment I received. I do not appreciate my life being treated as if it is worth nothing.

Dr. Horlander is a great Dr. who has always treated me as though I was very important, not as some old man to get out of the way. He treated me in one of the worst times of my life and helped save my life. I have nothing but the greatest respect for this man and wish him well.

Dr. Horlander will spend time with you to really get to you as a person and a patient. He is keeping with most current medicine and will work to find the best treatment for you.
