Provider listen and gave time for any and all concerns. Explained the next step for my son. Options as well. Everyone was so nice and approachable. They gave my some time and didn't rush him. Definitely would recommend this provider to people.

I am currently working with the California Medical Board to investigate Dr. Illingworth’s evaluation of my daughter. He failed to review prior medical records or acknowledge her measurable improvement under therapy, omitted key diagnoses like spondylolisthesis and hip pathology, and dismissed the clinically accepted hip-pelvis-spine connection as “outside his expertise.” Based on this experience, I cannot trust his judgment or care; parents should be extremely cautious when considering him.

I brought my daughter for a spine evaluation with Dr. Illingworth and left with serious concerns about his clinical judgment. He did not review her previous evaluations, seemed unsure and uncomfortable while reading her X-rays, and was confused several times during the appointment. He also failed to include her diagnosed spondylolysis in his report and showed no understanding of how her hip condition relates to her spine, which was very concerning for a pediatric orthopedist. Unlike other doctors in his department who take time to review all findings and explore non surgical options, he did not seem interested in considering anything beyond his own narrow view. Based on my experience, I would not trust his opinion for consultation or surgery. Families deserve a physician who is thorough, confident, and willing to look at the full picture.

Dr. Illingworth is always kind and listens patiently to our questions. He always honestly answers our questions and makes my daughter (the patient) feel part of the conversation. He is fantastic!
