Dr. Kenneth E. Johnson, MD

Excellent!!

I have seen Dr Johnson for over 20 years now. He has seen me through the worst of times.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kenneth Johnson for over ten years now. I am Bipolar and he has helped me with many struggles. He listens and truely cares about your well being. I have had a few instances where I tried to schedule an appointment and wasn’t doing well and the receptionist told me his next available appointment was over a month out. I got in contact with one of his nurses and he made extra time over lunch to see me the next day. He offers unbiased advise and is up to date on any new medications that might help. He makes it known that medication alone is not always what you need and you have to try and make changes in other parts of your life as well. Highly recommended .

I want to say that I am one of those 1% of people who unfortunately does not respond typically to many medications. However... I believe Dr. Kenneth Johnson did his absolute best to help me be comfortable and problem solve in a positive doctor/ patient relationship. While inpatient myself once I admitted, "I would not want to be my own psychiatrist!" Side effects are forever a part of medicine, some people struggle more than others. However, in my mind Dr. Johnson very much connected with both me and my situation, and I thank him for that. I definitely recommend this doctor to anybody... he helped me through many tough years successfully.

Dr. Johnson has made a significant difference in my life. He has helped me over many hurdles. I have utmost confidence in him.

Dr. Johnson did not take seriously when I repeatedly expressed concerns about becoming addicted to the medication being prescribed (Adderall). He instead reassured me everything was normal and prescribed a higher dose. He later offered Xanax to counter the side effects of Adderall. He was willing to prescribe any medication I requested. Consequently I struggled with addiction for nearly five years without Dr. Johnson ever taking my concerns seriously. I decided to seek help elsewhere. I would not recommend Dr. Johnson. Please be careful. Many prescription drugs are highly addictive and doctors are not always motivated to inform you of this.

Dr. Johnson is a fantastic doctor that actually cares about his patients and truly listens to what they are saying. He is personable and takes time to get to know you as a patient and as a person. He is more then willing to work with you to find the correct treatment for your medical problem. I have been seeing him for over 9 years and I would never even think of seeing anyone else.

Not only does Dr Johnson take care to assess and treat as needed, he is kind and compassionate. He listens and interacts with his patients, a truly unique thing these days with physicians. He is intelligent and will work diligently to find the proper combination of medications and or therapy and other activities, while supporting patients and families in healthy futures. I thank him for helping me through a difficult time.
