Dr. Kenneth Lyons Jones, MD

Dr. Jones treated me in the 70's when I was diagnosed with DI. I am in my 40's now and still have memories of him and thought he was a great even as a child. I was diagnosed with DI at the age of 3. I remember everyone was puzzled on my diagnosis. So, I just want to say thank you, and making such an impact on my life. I knew as a child that I said I would work in the medical field, I am now an RN. I work in the ED.

I was telling someone today about Dr. Jones...even though it has been almost 34 years since our encounter with him. Not only do I believe he is at the top of his field but he is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors i have ever dealt with. He was called in to confirm a diagnosis of Trisomy 18 on our newborn daughter, He gave me the worst news any parent could hear...Our little Rachel Lynn was going to die...He showed concern and compassion that still touches my heart to this day. On a followup visit some weeks later he held my precious little Rachel and talked to us in such a loving way....Rachel died in my arms at the age of 7 weeks. i was a young 25 year old mom and I will always be grateful for the care we received from Dr Ken L Jones!
