Dr Kwon tried to order an ultrasound for food poisoning. One of the Doctors who performs unnecessary tests clogging up our medical infrastructure. His favorite drug to recommend is tylenol.

Dr. Kenneth Kwon is a jerk and will rip you off.

Ensure he's in network for your insurance or negotiate a price upfront for services before he treats your children. He utilizes a company called MVEP Medical Group to collect on the exorbitant fees he charges and refuses to discuss the price he charges afterwards. He knows he's ripping off his patients and that's why he hires these goons to collect for him. They tried to coach me up on what to tell the insurance company to get more money out of them. His fee for visiting my child for a total of 5 minutes in the emergency room after she had had a seizure was $400. For the math challenged that comes out to $4800 an hour. No one does anything deserving of that kind of money. He's currently working in the CHOC emergency room in Mission Viejo. Ask questions before they do anything they could charge you for, or you'll end up paying the price later. CHOC actually accepts my insurance but they utilize doctor's that do not. You sign away your rights upon entering the ER while you're worried… about your child and you have no ground to fight once you get the bill from doctors who are taking advantage of your situation. If I wasn't moving back out of state this week I would consider a class action lawsuit against CHOC for a bait and switch scheme. They should only hire doctor's who take the same insurance as them or they should be required to discuss fees up front with you.
