My son, Logan, was a patient of Dr. Lazarus in 1990 in San Antonio, TX. He had liver cancer and was given a very slim chance of survival. I believe in Dr. Lazarus's book, he is referred to as Mark. Today, he is 34 years old thanks to Dr. Lazarus and a wonderful surgeon, Dr. Smith. I have never forgotten how much we owe to these two men. Although Dr. Smith has passed on, I felt the urge today to let Dr. Lazarus know just how much he has meant to our family and how blessed we were to find him. Thank you can never be enough!

My son had Ewing’s Sarcoma in 2006. Dr Lazarus was an excellent doctor. Extremely compassionate. I always did a lot of research and each time we had an appointment I asked him many questions. He always answered my questions and never made me feel like I was taking too much of his time. He is an extremely smart doctor. He never cut corners. Great communicator to both patient and family. We are forever grateful to Dr Lazarus and his nurse Marian. Both were instrumental in the quality of care our son received.

My son Evan was diagnosed with ALL at the age of three. My husband and I consider Dr. Lazarus an angel on earth!! He was calm and competent when we were paralyzed with fear. I thank God every day for him

My daughter's doctor unexpectedly found a problem requiring immediate blood transfusion. He sent us to the hospital and called Dr. Lazarus. Over 2 years, Dr. Kenneth Lazarus led my daughter's treatments, and she was cured. She was very frightened but he and staff always connected with reassurance. He is a healer, understanding and professional; everyone who works with him feels his healing capability. The finest pediatric specialist/physician I have known.

EXCEPTIONAL DOCTOR! Our daughter was diagnosed with ALL 23 years ago and she just had her first child!!!! Dr. Lazarus and Marian always treated us like family and there are no words to express adequately the professionalism, caring, and diligence he gives his patients. They helped us through many a difficult time during her treatment!!! THANKS to them all went well. THE BEST!!!! and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Its an appointment you hope you will never have to take your child to. Dr. lazarus and his staff made it a bit easier. He listened, and my son felt comfortable (he is 3 years old) with him.
