Doesnt listen to patient concerns. Condescending and smug.

I have had Dr Lilik for many years. He is a doctor who treats each patient with the utmost care. He treats each of his patients as if they were his own family, not letting any decision be half or any partly made. He goes the fullest extent to assure his patient has the best care available as if treating his own child. I wish other doctors in his field would use him as an example of the roll model to which a caring, loving Dr. who truly cares for his patients . Thank you Dr. and his wofe who worked beside him for the long hard road we took always making me feel important and never letting me feel down. You have always lifted my spirits and kept me on solid grou8nd. God bless you and your next road ahead!!

My son suffers from seizures since he was born. We lived down Philly and had one of the best neurologist down there moved here in 2009. I made a appt with Dr.Lilik for his seizures he switched the meds he was on to what he wanted him to be on. After a month of being on them I had to take him off of them because of the fact he would not listen to me about the side effects my son was having. My son would see things that weren't there and said that these people where telling him stuff and he would be balled up in a ball crying his eyes out then he would get real violent with my little one and put his hands around his neck trying to chock him. He never had done any of this before until his meds where switched. When Dr.Lilik was told about this his answer was we are going to keep him on his meds he 9years old he will grow out of it. Really I will never step foot in that place again. If you cant take the time out to figure why this is happening to my son or put him back on the meds he was… on before he start seeing you that he was perfectly fine on you should not be a Dr. sir not at all time to hand in your tape recorder and coat. on compassion for your patients at all.

There aren't many Dr's out there like Dr. Lilik. He is kind, compassionate, and very thorough. I look forward to my appointments with him!!

Well.... l was very happy or so I thought. I have seizures and nobody knows why. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. I felt he really cared about me as a patient and my well being. I missed an appointment, I will admit to my own neglect. Memory loss and forgetfullness is a big problem.The other two times were due to hospitalization. He knew this and dismissed me from his practice. I asked the receptionist to call mercy and verify. I also asked for another chance. She did ask him, he said NO. He gave me enough medication for a month and that was that. Draw your own conclusion but to me that changed my whole opinion.

Unfortunately, Dr. Lilik is the only pediatric neurologist in the Scranton area. On the surface he comes across as a caring doctor. However, that is where his list of good qualities ends. He does not take the time to listen to patient concerns nor will he advocate on their behalf. He consistently negates issues and questions that are presented to him year after year (for example- options to limit/reduce the side effects of medication). Which to me is a very valid and important topic (enter the tap-dancing back pedaling mumbling talk). That is what he does EVERY TIME! Or the other go to option is to simply ignore the question and move on to his ever important dictation. Ultimately, he is lack luster and uncaring. It saddens me that he is the only local neurologist in the area. Currently seeking help with doctors miles away and the drive is worth every drop of gas!!!!

We spent weeks trying to contact Dr Likik's office to make an appointment for my daughter. They would either leave us on hold and never pick up, or say they would call back and never did. After a few weeks we got an appointment. We arrived at the office to find they moved it and didn't notify patients? Once we found the office, we sat for an hour and a half while they took every patient who arrived after us. A woman walked in with her child and was seen in less than 5 minutes while we'd been waiting over an hour! We walked out. It's completely ridiculous! Never again will I drive 2 hours to see this doctor. We'll find a new one.

My son broke his arm very badly, and there was some concern over injury/severance of one or more of the major nerves. Dr. Lillick and his assistant were amazing. They kept my son calm, while conducting tests, even had him laughing through this painful procedure. For any other neurological needs, I would definitely use him.

Thank God for second opinions. Misdiagnosed the issue with our child. Argued with me when I explained we got a second opinion and tried to back pedal regarding what he had said. Wouldn't take my cat here.

Dr. Lilik is an excellent neurologist. I went to him when I was 17 and now my daughter goes to him for seizures. She absolutely loves him and you would swear you're his only patient by the individualized care and time he spends with you. She had seizures every day before she went to him. Now she has hardly any. He is very thorough and his secretaries and office staff are wonderful people.
