Dr. Kenneth Eli Mancher, MD

I'd give zero stars if I could. Dr Mancher was the on-call physician when I called in for a simple, recurring issue that required a standard RX. Not only did he refuse to treat me, he told me that he had someone with a bigger problem waiting and he "didn't have time to treat me any better." He was argumentative, arrogant and staggeringly rude.

My elderly father has been a patient of Dr. Mancher's for several decades. My father was recently hospitalized and upon discharge the VNA contacted Dr. Mancher's office to work in conjunction regarding follow-up care. The visiting nurse was informed that Dr. Mancher would not be part of the consultation due to the fact that my father was 3 months late for his annual physical. Keep in mind this doctor has decades worth of medical records on my father, yet at this crucial time he backed out. Therefore, any current or future patients who think that his doctor will be there for you when it's critical, think again.

Thinking of finding another PCP who is more understanding of my concerns, especially since I have ongoing issues.

Dr. Mancher is so up to date on new meds and their conflicts with others that he advised me to discontinue a med that my previous PCP had prescribed. Also, his lab tests revealed that my potassium level was too high and had me stop taking KCl that my previous PCP had prescribed. He is very interested in helping me control my diabetes. He does not rush patients and is willing to talk to learn details of patients' concerns and symptoms. I just wish he would use email to keep in touch.

Laughed and smiled while trying to explain my sickness, very offended.Wasted my time when I requested help again by putting me off to another doctor. Not clear when explaining his opinion. I've never left satisfied out of 3 times visiting him.

This doctor is not interested in helping the patient as much as he is about preaching and putting down. I went to him for anxiety and insomnia, and he laughted at me, told me to count sheep, and get a new job. i left the office shaking my head, like, are you kidding me? Then his secretary/nurse was rude and rough during my intake..
