Dr. Kenneth Dean Mcleod SR., DO

I had read all the terrible reviews about his staff, office, and over all bedside manner and was hesitant to try him however they were able to make me an appointment the day after I called. His entire staff was friendly. The woman who took my vitals and history was friendly and genuinely cared about the reason for my visit and prior medical history. The over all visit including wait time was about an hour, but at no point did I feel like they were being lazy. They were moving along their patients in a timely manner. Upon meeting dr Kenneth I was still nervous that the rumors would be true and he would dismiss everything I had to say but it was the complete opposite. He referred me to the specialist I needed to see, and also expressed concern in another area of my life and was willing to offer his recommendation on another doctor that would be able to help. He was very friendly, patient, and never once made me feel like I was wrong for the concerns I had. He didn’t once mention my… eating habits or weight like many of these reviews suggested he was a stickler about, however I am in pretty good shape. Overall I am looking forward to my follow up appointment so we can move forward with getting to the root of my medical problems, as well as any future care I may need for sickness in the future. I would absolutely say to see him for yourself and if he’s not for you, then move along. But you can’t judge a book by the cover and I found my experience with him to be the opposite of what I had expected from the reviews from others.

Worse Dr.'s ever to go to...bed side manner is terrible, they yell at their patients...i wouldn't take my dog there...

The wait times are horrible, the staff is less than friendly, the office itself smells and needs updating badly, and the Dr. should retire. I dread coming and would almost rather a visit to the emergency room before coming here.

If I could give 0 stars I would ! This guy is the worst! He does unnecessary Procedures and his bedside manners are terrible . I would never recommend this office to anyone even if you dying and he's the only one around find someone else to save your life . All he will do is tell you need to go on a vegetarian diet . Things I found wrong with this office -poor bookkeeping -waiting room and office not clean -Wait times in office vs actual time being seen 1 HR wait / 5 min being seen .

I thought I was going to have to restrain my wife from punching him in the face. He told us about 10 times how fat our child was and he needed to be a vegetarian. Was very dismissive to any concerns we had. When we mentioned that our child was having issues with anxiety he looks at him and says he doesn't look anxious to me. That was when we said just give us our paperwork so we can leave.

Well I don't like going here. I have medicaid so it's hard for me to find a doctor that takes medicaid. He told me that I should stop eating meat. He wants me to eat nothing but fruits and vegetables. No meat at all. He told me that I needed to lose weight. Which yeah I knew that. I lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks. Than went back and he didn't say good job for losing weight. He told me to lose more. He is very rude. When I was living in NY I was seening a urologist for thinking of my bladder and my kidney stones. I told him I wanted to get a urologist down here do to me still having issues. His response was I need to take a urine dip first. How can you see my bladder doing that. Than he told me it wasn't necessary for me to see a urologist. He was doing a bunch of test on things that I don't have issues with.

This guy is not a good choice to start. I have never seen such a dirty unhealthy place in my life! Same carpet that came with the building, no up to date equipment, no private screening ( you get all your vitals and asked all medical questions in waiting room). Mr Mcleod (will not refer to as a doctor) treats your issuses with jokes and sny remarks. He doesn't wash between clients could smell feces on hands when he came in the room from the restroom. No gloves, masks or sanitizers in wait room or used by doctor. You will be charged for two appointments so he can make money if a new client. If new and known to be new even if set up prior as new patient you will use two doctor visits for what should all happen in one. Do not bring your kids not clean same pillow cases on pillows since he opened shop. I looked at his reviews and made mistake of thinking no way but yes all is true on here. Three hours is how long we waited for ten minutes of this guys time of jokes. Very high turn over… and if place ain't taken care of staff prob ain't either it shows.

I have had a problem with my ears and sinus for two month. I have had five visits and still I am having problems.

Has asked about my strep throat every appointment I have had with him. I had strep throat back in December. It is fixed. Every time he asks if I'm still taking my antibiotics for my strep and how the strep is doing. Even when i went for my foot! How does he mix up my foot and throat? He had no idea what he was talking about the whole time.
