Dr. Kenneth Dean Olsen, MD

I went to Dr Olsen because he uses the Supra path technique for hip replacement. I was diagnosed with OA of the hip by another othopedic surgeon and my hip pain was getting more severe. Unfortunately, I never got to see the orthopedist but only saw his PA, Madison. Her first words to me were, “ what makes you think you have a hip problem?” She was very off putting, demeaning and I felt like I was back at square one. It’s unfortunate that a PA with a two year degree can make orthopedic diagnosis for Dr Olsen and be the gatekeeper for an experienced surgeon. I left the appointment completely deflated. What a waste of time and money. I am a working person and would like to continue to work but my hip pain is limiting my abilities

I had a great experience with Dr. Olsen when he treated both my knees with everything he could think of before we ended up going the surgery route. Had both knees total replacement and I received excellent care from Dr. Olsen and his staff.

I hope everyone that has to go through a bone break would get Dr. Olsen. I cannot say enough good words about him and his team.

It was quite easy to get in to see Dr. Olsen. The staff was very friendly and I didn't wait long to see the doctor. He was great at explaining my problem and showing me things on my X-ray. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. He takes all issues into account and doesn't rush into making surgical decisions until he has the big picture. He takes time with his patients. I really can't say enough to show how wonderful he is!
