Dr. Kenneth Wayne Pitman, MD

I have seen Dr Pitman several times. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dr Pitman ordered diagnostic tests, sent me for Physical Therapy and performed injections. Having exhausted non medication methods for alleviating pain he did prescribe some pain medication. I have seen other pain management doctors in the past and had injections. Dr Pitman is much better, both with relatively pain free injections and improvement in pain with the injections. I highly recommend Dr Pitman.

Dr. Pitman acts more like a business man than a doctor. He has very poor bedside manners. He may be a good doctor but I didn't stay with him long enough to know. He was just too rude and cold for me. His office and staff and perhaps even Dr Pitman though are a bit unorganized. They were consistently getting my appointments, paperwork messed up. It was like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. They'd tell me to go have bloodwork or xrays done, when I had just turned them in on the previous visit. Left me feeling they( including the doctor) didn't know what they were doing.

If you want someone who wants to understand and help your pain, do not see this Dr Pitman! Decided to give him a second chance and was treated worse the 2nd time. I’ve never been treated so rudely by a doctor in my life!

I rather die than ever go back to Dr. Pitman!!!! I’ve never experienced a doctor that was so rude and won’t listen to what you have to Say. When he walks in the door he thinks he already knows what your problem is when it’s the first time you’ve seen him!!!!! Horrible horrible man!!!!

Get scolded for using pain medication!

He has a terrible ego. Does not listen to anyone. He treats the nurses badly and the customers(us) worse

Minimized my pain based upon 4 minute review of my appearance and no apparent review of my 5 years of being treated by other doctor in practice. I felt as if I was being reprimanded for my pain level since I only had a few bulged discs. Never mind my 3 back surgeries!

I have seen him for a number of years and he is a great doctor I have told my friends about him.

Dr Pitman has given me back my quality of life that I never thought that I would see again. . My first appointment I was a bit scared because I was in so much pain and so discouraged that point. He came in and introduced himself and did the exam and then got quiet for a moment... At first I was nervous bit then you could tell that he was and then came up with a battle plan. He has been by my side for a year now fighting along with me to allow me to live my life once again. I have had numerous procedures done and they have all brought me a step closer to the old me. I went form being in a wheelchair to walking with a cane. I have been blessed with some of the best doctors in Reno and Dr. Pitman is one of them.
