Dr. Kenneth John Price, DO

There is a reason that Dr. Price always has openings in his schedule when all of the other drs. at this practice are booked. He's arrogant and demeaning and not particularly good at what he does. Dr. Price is the kind of dr. who makes personal comments about you under the pretense of being concerned about your health--but it's very clear that he's insulting you. He can always defend himself later by claiming it was a benign attempt to call attention to an unhealthy habit or condition, but at the moment, when it's just you two in the room, you both know that he's deliberately being nasty. He rushes through appointments and is uninterested in the patient's input--he seems to have diagnosed you before walking in the door. Because of this, a good percentage of the time, the diagnosis is dead wrong. After several experiences with Dr. Price's "care," I will wait any length of time necessary to see any other physician in this practice, no matter how serious my condition is.

He is big on exercising and losing weight. He did not think it was important to look at my past medical history with my primary care from out of state, but luckily, I am in better health than most. He seems reserved, may be his nature, but patients want a doctor who smiles and jokes, and puts them at ease. I'm ok with seeing him unless something unpleasant happens.

He refused to look at a hospital (one that he is not affiliated with) report, from this year, stating I have diabetes 2 and he said that he was going to go according to the almost '2 year old' blood test records of the other hospital [that he was affiliated with] instead. He told me that I 'do not have diabetes'. Now both hospitals confirm that I do. Then he told me that I needed to exercise and he got up and showed me how to stretch the calf of your legs. I will not return to this Dr..

Wrong diagnosis by doctor. Ultimately ended up in hospital later that date. Appeared annoyed I had made an appointment to see a doctor and belittled me and the symtoms I described to him.
