Both my husband and I are patients of Dr. Renkens. I have degenerative disk disease and my husband has spinal stenosis. Each time problems crop up, Dr. Renkens has 100% resolved the issue and relieved us of all of our pain with spine surgery. I recommend him to anyone in pain due to spine problems! He is a compassionate and highly skilled physician.

Dr. Renkens done back surgery on me in 1996 and fusion surgery 1998. I as pretty good for 5 years or so then started to have back pain again. Doctors now looking at my MRI says nothing can be done now. Been getting injections here in Bloomington with only temporary relief. Going to have to find pain specialist in Indy. I'm 74 male and hate to live rest of my life like this. Dr. Renkens told me at time of fusion, that hardware might have to come out later, but no one will touch me, and NO Dr. Renkens.

Spent about 5 minutes in the room with me. Very bad bedside manner.

I have had two back surgeries after working for UPS for 33 years. Doc Renkens has been a GOD send to help with my physical problems. We have recommended others to him as well and he has help them both in a kind and caring manner before and during and after the surgeries.

Dr Renkens is not in a hurry to suggest surgery. He will give you a written diagnosis if you ask for it. He is very good at helping to control your pain. I have had 3 back surgeries before seeing Dr Renkens and I wish I had started with him.
