Dr. Kenneth Wayne Rictor, MD

I disliked waiting an hour for Dr. Rictor coming into the exam room. He was usually late. One time my appointment was 1:00 after lunch, and I had to wait until 2:00 for him to breeze into the room and act like he was doing me a favor. Sometimes his bedside manner was nice other times it was not. The staff was wonderful. I would not recommend Dr. Rictor's office to anyone.

Saw Dr Rictor since he got established. Years into a good doctor-patient relationship I saw him for classic signs of hypothyroidism & begged him to do a FULL thyroid panel...would only ever do a simple TSH, declare it normal & then try to push antidepressants on me. Went through 7 yrs of physical & emotional agony & being made to feel I was crazy & him being angry that I questioned his judgement before I got the FULL labs from a new doc. And, yes, the TSH was still normal but the other values he had refused to test were WAY off & I DID have hypothyroidism!! Thankfully, my symptoms have cleared now that my new doctor has me on medication but I'll never forgive Rictor for the 7 years of physical & mental torture I endured because he couldn't see past his own ego to order the testing I asked for.

My wife and I have had the pleasure and good fortune in having Dr. kenneth Rictor as our family physician for close to 10 years now. We are most satisfied with him and his staff. Dr. Rictor is truly concerned with the medical conditions and wellness of his patients. His diagnosis have always been spot on for us and his prescribing has brought relief and cure. He spends time with us, explaining in depth, his diagnosis and curative options. Dr. Rictor keeps up to date with the latest in cutting edge medical practices. We trust our lives to him without fear. He is most pleasant to talk to and explains in detail. We cannot say enough good for him!

I was in the market for a new family Dr when I came upon Dr. Rictor's office. I have always avoided doctors unless there is no other choice because I have felt they don't really listen. This is not the case with Dr. Rictor. I have been a patient there for over a year now and have always felt listened to!!!

I have been Dr. Rictor's patient for over a decade. When I went in for heart concerns, they wanted me to wear a 24 hour heart monitor. I asked if it was included in the amount I was paying that day as the charge was more than usual. I was told yes. The next day I returned the monitor and was told a mistake had been made and I owed $250 more. I told them I could not pay and would not have taken the monitor if they had given me the correct information to begin with. Dr. Rictor's said he will no longer treat me because of the $250 which I was not informed of. I have always paid him the day of my appointment.
