Dr. Kenneth Rosenfield, MD

He is a well known doctor at MGH. However he never calls back with test results. What is the purpose of doing tests, when he never calls back with test results. Even when I am in a Cath lab, he was busy talking in his cell phone with someone on Cardiology association elections and let a fellow student do the work. MGH argument is - It is a teaching hospital and hence it is OK. Even during the office visits, it is the fellow student who sees you, while the doctor is mostly busy talking on his cell phone during most of the time.

Dr. Rosenfield is the very best. I had a quadruple by-pass with three cadaver veins in 2015. Two completely blocked and the third was 80% blocked. He opened a native blockage and opened and stented a cadaver vein. Very difficult procedure which no one in western mass would do. Unbelievable talent, considerate, kind and great communicator.

Dr. Ken Rosenfield is an outstanding physician who exercises the art of medicine like it was done 40 years ago. He deeply CARES about his patients, then LISTENS, LISTENs, LISTENS to them and then expertly executes the necessary tests in his cardiac lab to garner the necessary data to establish a precise diagnosis and treatment. His compassion is palpable which put me at ease. He is an old time doc with The tools that make him a master of current technology. Best of all--he treats and I got better.

He is a nice doctor that helped with a heart stint when I could not get a Maine cardiologist to help me. Problem is when I was admitted here in Maine and tried to reach him with what to do when had another heart attack. He never returned call from doctor here or when I called him.

I got a small heart attack about 2 months ago, and 5 blockages are found in my artery, one of them is almost fully blocked. Dr. Kenneth Rosenfield and his team (Sean Hennigan, Katie Vargas and Jen Dzezel) installed 2 stents in my artery, so far I feel very well. I think that Dr. Rosenfield and his team are the best experts of cardiac cath operation I have ever known.

He is the best! He is very experienced and takes his time talking to his patients and family. He goes over and above to make sure the family and patient understand the diagnosis and treatment. He was amazing.
