Dr. Kenneth M Shoor, MD

I am a native of Southern California. I was born, raised, and attended school through high school in Los Angeles. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara before moving to Chicago to attend medical school. During medical school I realized I enjoyed working with children and their families. After graduation, I returned to Southern California for pediatric training and the great weather. My brother and I were exposed to medicine from an early age, as our father was a physician. His influence must have been positive-we both became doctors. I find it very rewarding to help families deal with the growth, development, and health issues of their children. I have a love for aquatic activities. I was a competitive swimmer in my youth and continue to train and compete with a master's swim team in Torrance. I enjoy ocean swimming and participate in the Pier-to-Pier Swim every summer during the International Surf Festival.
