Dr. Kenneth E Smith, MD

In searching for a good physician, I found a great one in Dr. Smith. He is attentive, compassionate, patient and willing to explain in layman terms my medical issues. I give him a 5 star. I’ve seen Dr. smith for 3 1/3 years now and I am please with his service.

They don't take pain management seriously.

I was a new patient with this Doctor. Seeing as how my husband and his whole family go to see Dr. Smith I thought I'd give him a try. The office informed me that for a new patient the actual appt would take about 40 mins. So I arrived for my 10:00am appt about 30 mins early expecting a ton a paperwork. I was called to the back within 10 mins of arriving. The nurse did the usual and said ok the Dr. will be in shortly.I am not kidding when I say I was sitting in the room for an hour and a half before I eventually walked out. No one had the courtesy to even let me know he was running late or anything. Which I should add that there were only to people in front of me. Then when I went to tell the office I had to leave, I heard the office staff say that they were in the middle of entering my information and that they would have to do it again next time I came in because they had to close the program in order to reschedule my appt. An hour and a half and you still have not entered my… info?????Are you kidding me. I think they had just plain forgot about me. Which has happened before at a Dr.'s office before but they were SLAMMED. Unlike this place that cant even handle 3 patients. Very upset that I had to wait that long and not even be seen,take all the time off work which is an hour drive for nothing to get accomplished.. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I visited Dr. Smith for a pinched nerve in my shoulder. During my visit, Dr. Smith performed a routine check of my neck/thyroid. He felt a tiny spot that was out of the norm and quickly followed up with blood tests and such. I was diagnosised with Tyroid Cancer. I truly believe I am alive because of Dr. Smith. He acted quickly and my Thyroid was addressed before it had time to grow any larger and spread elsewere.

He found a problem and patiently pursued it with me. I'm very pleased with him! Nice guy, easy to talk to. Even called me after hours once.
