Dr. Kenneth Neil Sokolski, MD

Dr. Sokolski is the most wonderful psychiatrist I have ever met. He is very professional and finally gave me a proper diagnosis. I had misdiagnosed many times, resulting in tardive diskonesia . He has been treating my problemmes for an advanced amount of time. He is a caring doctor and suggests ways to help you in the long run.

Dr. Sokolski is personable and easy to talk to. The previous doctor that I was seeing no longer accepted the insurance plan that I had. Dr. Sokolski worked with me to see which meds and dosage worked best. I would recommend seeing him.

Very chill, very relaxed Dr. Provides a nice, calm atmosphere for people like me who are riddled with anxiety... Especially about going to the doctor LOL.

I canâ??t believe how partisan these review are. They are highly positive or negative. I interviewed with a couple doctors, and do feel that his office has a greater caseload than the other doctors. It is difficult to find a psychiatrist who is a good â??fitâ??, and one who you have good rapport with. I pass on him because he took a lengthy phone call before the session, and because the session was very brief (didnâ??t focus too much on my history, more on the medicine management side). In the end I selected a different doctor who does more psychotherapy than medicine management .

Dr Sokolski is the best doctor I met on my last 12 years battling with bipolar 2 ,and really bad insomnia .He understood what I was going through after stopping my meds due to pregnancy and then once I was not breastfeeding anymore (he was concern about this too,some doctors don't even care) He started me over with pretty much the same medications I was on before but gave me some really helpful tips that I never heard before ,he did NOT just gave me a bunch of sedatives quiet the opposite he understand my situation and is doing his best to keep in touch with me Even if I live in Monrovia now and I have two little ones and can't get to long beach often Dr Sokolski and Maria ,her assistant take care of my needs over the phone,I had to call him a couple of times for emergency and he called back right away . He is very nice and in my case at least he was never on the phone with people or looked distracted. I am still his patient and taking the same medications he is not a hand me out… specialist I will say ,like some others are . His main staff Maria is also very helpful and she would call you always herself and takes cares of the refills and the payments without hustle,also always called me right away if there was a slot of time between patients .

Agree with previous comment he is not recommended. He was so busy and preoccupied with other patients that it becomes impossible for you to be listen to, understood, and genuinely helped. All he wants to do is to hand out some meds and setup a revolving door. Better go elsewhere.

Dr. Sokolski is not recommended. This will be clear at the outset when he takes lengthy phone calls during your session. Look further.

the dr. is very intelligent and knows his pharmacology. if it wasn't for him i'd be a complete mess today. he is very kind and one can tell him just about everything. i highly recommend him!
