Dr. Kenneth Brandon Strenge, MD

Dr. Strenge rushed me into having a spinal fusion in 2021. I am in more pain now than before the surgery. My neurosurgeon in Louisville is calling it 'Failed back syndrome.' I'm in immense amounts of pain daily, and unsure whether I'm going to need another surgery. My level of mobility is almost nothing, before I had this surgery, I was in the best shape of my life. I went to the gym a few days a week, and just generally active. 2 weeks ago I was told by my family doc I am pre-diabetic. I am young, and my quality of life is so poor compared to what it used to be. Wish I never had this surgery.

Literally only cares about himself. Would have let my father die because he didn’t want to admit he messed up a surgery.

Waste of my time. He offended my wife and we nearly walked out. Very judgemental, arrogant and a total waste of a copay. Do not waste your time.

Dr. Strenge was very professional and compassionate. I will be having back surgery and he made me feel at ease about it.

Dr. Strenge suppose to replace 3 disk in lower back on a Friday. He 1st when thru my thigh to get to one disk and he damaged a nerve or nerve going down my left side. He then quit for the day. I laid in ICU over the weekend out of it totally. On Monday he went in my back to finish the job. When I finally came around I couldn't move my left leg, I had no feeling in it or my left foot at all. It was several days before the feeling came back in my left leg/foot. Was in hospital 17 days and then rehab for almost 3 weeks. Head of nuro at UK called it a failed surgery. I should have sued, but I didn't. My life has been down hill ever since. Took over 2 years before I could walk with a cane. Fell 40+ times in the 1st 2 years. It's been 5 1/2 years and I still can't walk without a cane and have a lot of pain issues in my left hip and leg.

I was referred to this "Doctor" by my primary care physician. I was only allowed to see his Nurse Practicioner. They overcharged me, and also charged me for services that were not rendered.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Strenge. I had issues with my lower back and my neck and he diagnosed me and treated me with medication. He explained my options and thankfully did not rush me into surgery. The treatment is working. His staff has been so helpful to me. My advice is: if you have to wait for an appointment, stick it out, it will be worth it
