I was referred to Dr Taylor by my primary doctor.I had with me the MRI written report. Very upseting to hear him say "she had jumped the gun in orderingt the MRI"I had a tear in the meniscus, but his comment was that people like me,with white hair ,this surgery was not recommended,wow, at that point i should have walked out.But i decided to give him a second chance,but he did not see me .I ended up seeing his PA.I then went for a second opinion, and surgery was scheduled immediatly to find out there were two tears in the knee and not one.Needless to say ,iam doing great, iam fully aware of pro and cons with this surgery, especilally since iam a retired PhysicalTherapist specializing in orthopedics.Would his treatment have been different if i had disclosed this information?just relating my experience.He might have been great with other patients,but not with me
