Dr. Kenneth Loren Wong

I've been a regular patient of Dr. Wong's since 2003 without mishap. At least one review notes a lack of cleanliness: this is silly nonsense. My former wife is an R.N. My current girlfriend/roomy is an R.N. I've learned what constitutes a healthy/clean environment. I would not return to a place that appeared to lack sanitary habits. The Dr. and his staff are friendly and professional. In 2005 I retired and moved to WA on the Canadian border. It seemed necessary to find a new dentist. The new dentist and her hygienist found $9,000.00 worth of work that needed to be done or I'd start losing teeth and as my good luck would have it they had a friend who could do the work. A quick check found that none of these estimated costs would be covered by my insurance!!! When back in Calif. I returned to Dr. Wong who after the exam stated, "I'll do that work if you want but you don't need it." To date, 10 years later, I have lost no teeth. In all this time I have sadly had… numerous teeth filled. I have had all this work done without ever having an anesthetic. Dr. Wong has a very light and delicate touch. FYI: Dr. Wong was a dental instructor for almost 20 years at U.C. Med. As I recall several members of his family also did dental instruction there. Good dentistry practice runs in their family. I have heard over the years that some eccentric individuals will fly across the country for appointments with their life long dentist. Now I drive 1,000 miles, encounter heavy Bay Area traffic, toll bridges, and parking issues but the visit to Dr. Wong is always well worth it.
