So tells me I'm going home with something I'm on medication wise during my discharge meeting. Well, come date of discharge my pain medication was dropped from 10mg. 4 times a day, 5 mg. Once a day! I went to his office to ask why. A nurse informed him why I was there, and I was told to wait outside. I WAS NOT irate or loud or mad at this time. Just wanting to know if it was a mistake or to let me know why it was changed. After waiting 15 minutes he runs out of the office, puts his hand up in my face as he passes me practically running out and says "Dont talk to me about your pain meds"! As he running away, I ask "Is this a conversation?" And hes even further away now and tells "YEP!" and that's the last word spoken to me. I am upalled with how I was treated! I've been in pain management for 3 years. I do pill counts and drug screens every month! I've had 2 bad back surgeries, one the dr drilled through a nerve! I had a fall after those surgeries and now I'm a paraplegic in a… wheelchair. I've gone through a lot these past few years, but I have NEVER felt as dismissed and unimportant as I did when he did that. I just wanted to know why. I wasn't demanding a change or anything. But to throw your hand up, and just walk away after I was there for 5 weeks, and have my insurance pay you all that money, to just dismiss me and my concerns without so much as a conversation was rude, unprofessional, and down right wrong!! I WOULD NOT reccomend this "doctor" AT ALL! And I WILL inform the hospital how i was treated and i pray he doesn't treat anyone the same way again!

Dr. Wright took his time with me and explained my procedure. After performing the procedure he explained in detail my diagnosis and what I could do for my injury. I was very pleased with his thoroughness.
