Dr. Kenneth H. Yu, MD

According to this doctor and MSK, it’s “standard of care” to go into god mode and prescribe a dangerous medication outside his specialty — without consulting the appropriate specialist or warning the patient, who ended up in the ICU. Ironically, the actual specialist later questioned the necessity of that prescription in the medical record. But hey, who needs coordination or informed consent when you’ve got blind confidence? When confronted, MSK didn’t investigate — they defended it. No apology, no second opinion, no transfer of care. Just cold bureaucracy protecting itself calling their mess "standard of care". I can only hope their own families receive the exact same “standard” someday.

I have been a patient of Dr Yu's for several months. He is competent, kind, thorough, and listens. He goes above and beyond to make our appointments work time wise - as we come from Ohio to see him. I am fortunate to be his patient.
