Dr. Kenney Don Weinmeister, MD

I had an appointment with the doctor over two years ago to get a CT scan and at that time I should have known better, find another doctor. His bedside matter was almost non-caring and I felt like he really didn’t listen to me. Anyway it took him over two weeks that time to give me the results of the CT scan. Fast forward a year and a half later I need to get another routine CT scan. In my head I thought why am I getting a scan when I don’t get the results back. So I called the office I said if I get the scan done do I need to come in or is he going to call me right away? The receptionist said that she will call me and I don’t need to come in. Well I got the scan done, and I called the office a week later and I said I haven’t heard the route from the results yet! She said OK I’ll leave a note and I’ll have him give you a call. Well he didn’t call me I had a call back a week later and the reception says oh he would like for you to come in because it’s been a year come in and will give… you results nice it was already been two weeks when can you see me we could see you in four weeks I said at all of six weeks to get my results can you not hold my results hostage and tell me over the phone and I’ll come in and they said no . Well I think this is unconscionable, unprofessional so I am going to find another Doctor Who it will actually care about me and say hey here’s your results but I really need to see you or here’s your results and you know I don’t need to see you but either way just give me the results . Anyway I just think it’s a terrible choice for a doctor to make not to give your patient results because he has a patient we’re waiting for these results we go and we take the time for the test and I want to know good or bad what they are he doesn’t seem to care or his staff. His staff was really rude really inconsiderate and not really apologetic to any of my concerns find another doctor. His staff to was really rude really inconsiderate they yelled at me and he called me rude for wanting my results. I still don’t have them.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Weinmeister! He was an instrumental part of the team that restored me to health in 2016 when my aortic heart valve decided to give up the ghost! He was in charge of the pulmonary care ensuring my lungs were clear enough for the life-saving surgery I had. He has been my pulmonary doctor since and I am very grateful for his care.

Dr. Weinmeister was so concerned about another medical condition that I had, that was not his area, that he called another doctor to get me help. He has always been courteous and knowledgeable about my illness. I would not trade him for another doctor.

Egotist is a minor description of this guy. He thinks he knows everything and you dare not question or challenge him. Doesn't matter how many degrees he has in his back pocket, bedside manner is horrendous and nurses are scared of him. That says it all. Stay completely away from the guy if at all possible and good luck if you end up in the ICU with him on call.
