Dr. Kenny Elias Hanna, MD

I was in a lot of pain, so I was very quiet. Based on how I was talking he became extremely disrespectful, and unprofessional. Stay Away from him.

Very good straight to the point no nonsense surgeon. Dr. Hanna looked at my shoulder after two surgeons previously said I needed a total shoulder replacement. Dr. Hanna recommended a scope procedure. We agreed that he would go in clean the area out fix the torn labrum and it would buy me time for the replacement. It actually turned out much better than just a clean out. He fixed my torn labrum, rotator cuff, bicep and bone spur. He said I had a lot of what I call “space junk” and that it could be possible I will never need the complete shoulder replacement. Best news ever. No pain to speak of after the surgery or now. I was living with an ice pack 24/7 prior to the procedure so with instant relief after is a complete blessing. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hanna anytime.

The worst and most negligent Dr in practice! I have permanent damage to my hand now. I came to him with a broken hand. He said it was simple, reset it, pin it and after I would have full function. On the day of surgery he was over an hour late which made the appointment after 10pm! He was noticeably tired from working all day at his other job...that should have been my sign to leave but there was no other Dr who could take me and I hoped for the best. He did NOT reset my finger...he pinned it in the broken position for over 10 weeks! I later found out that this is not how its done. When I voiced my concerns that I did not feel it was pinned in the correct position and asked for an ex-ray to confirm...he denied me and repeatedly said no, saying that I should be careful for the radiation ex-ray emits. I tried to seek legal help to sue him for his negligence but was turned down because the state of NV as laws against holding Dr's responsible for negligence UNLESS there is loss… of limb or death! I had several appointments with other dr's to see what I could do and they all said that he should have NEVER kept my finger pinned for longer than 3 weeks and that the kind of break I had only needed to be reset and put in a splint for 4 weeks. The only good that I can take from this experience was a dear friend of mine who her son broke his hand the same as mine...he somehow found his way to Dr Hanna who set the date for some crazy surgery with pins. Thankfully and luckily his mother remembered what happened to me and asked what Dr I had seen....when I told her she immediately canceled her sons appointments and called a Dr friend who told her that Dr Hanna is NOT EVEN BOARD CERTIFIED!! He recommended Dr Jedidiah Jones...a WONDERFUL hand dr who I tried to get into but could not. He reset the boys hand and put in a splint for 3 weeks and a short time later he has FULL FUNCTION of his hand.

GET A 2nd OPINION! My 1st visit (12 days after accident) - Dr. Hanna said my hand was too swollen and bruised to be able to treat or even order an MRI. Scheduled me to follow up 3 weeks later at which time he was able to Diagnose my injury and tell me there was 0 treatment for me and that it was permanent damage - he did this WITHOUT AN MRI or EVER touching my hand! 2 days later a REAL HAND SPECIALIST evaluated me and gave the OPPOSITE diagnosis after a REAL EVALUATION. Shame on Lazy Dr. Hanna Taking the time to write this in hopes the next person can avoid going through the same roller coaster that I have. Avoid Dr. Hanna at all costs....you will be grateful in the end.

Dr. Hanna gave me my hands back. Numb and constantly painful no more!

He isn't a nice person. I was very disappointed he didn't know much about hands after all. He ordered the wrong MRI for a ligament tear. Called the office 2x to have corrected order faxed over. I was put on hold for 32 mins. waiting for help.

He bleached my skin when he gave me a steroid injection for my De Quervain's tenosynovitis (also known as mommy thumb/wrist). He also immediately recommended surgery without discussing the underlying problems or ways in which to avoid having surgery performed on my hands.

Had arm fracture and dislocation of the wrist , Dr. Hanna preformed the surgery to repair the damage . He is kind and professional , with a fantastic team around him . Followed by a daily personal check up email . It is the best medical care I could ever expected .

Office staff is quite self important, I have heard he is an excellent Doctor if you don't mind feeling like your issues are unimportant.
