Dr. Kenny Shing Yung, MD

Two separate office visits. The first one I told him I just didn’t feel good, but didn’t know for sure if it was my stomach. He started to leave, saying he was not ordering any tests! I replied “I didn’t ask you to”. A doctor in the ER suggested I ask my primary care to do a H.I.D.A. Scan. The H.I.D.A. Results showed my gall bladder was only working at 11%. The second time (still wondering why I went back again!), again I didn’t feel good and felt it really was my stomach, losing weight w/o trying. Dr. Yung made me feel like a hypochondriac. Went to a gastro doctor in another town. Had me take a 3+ hour test at the hospital. Results showed Gastro Paresis.

It is unfortunate that patients seldom write reviews for positive experiences. Our visit with Dr. Yung today was phenomenal. He was personable, thorough, and made a cognizant effort to ensure we were all on the same page. He listened to our concerns and adequately explained his treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Yung to everyone and encourage future patients not to let the other reviews discourage them from picking Dr. Yung for their visit!

Wish I had seen this before making my appointment with this doctor. Totally questioning the diagnosis now. His delivery of fairly grim diagnosis was awful, , it started with asking my age and stating 20 years was within normal life expectancy. Yhe explanation and prognosis...I was instructed to Google it. No follow up instructions offered.

kenny young of Gastroenterology Specialists just settled a lawsuit for giving a patient hepatitis. If he is your doctor get checked now.

5 weeks or more to get a test then it is done wrong. never use this group

Came in with 2 month of abdominal pain. I am in shape and exercise daily. He basically said my symptoms were too vague, said I was 40 now and my body was getting older. He laughed about my symptoms and basically made me feel dumb for coming in to see him. I continue to have pain and am looking for another doctor.

Friendly and concerned with my health. I don't know who these other patients saw but he has done a good job for me.

I can't believe someone with such little concern for a patient's well being is able to practice medicine. I felt like he was not at all interested in helping me figure out what was wrong with me. I saw him after being referred by my family doctor for intestinal problems. I suggested I might have a parasitic infection, to which he responded "we live in the U.S. No one has parasites." Thankfully I found a doctor who actually cared and took me seriously. Turns out I have a serious parasitic infection after all. Not only would I never see Dr. Yung again, I will do my best to dissuade anyone else from going through the frustration of being belittled during their sensitive time of illness.
