Dr. Kent J Cooper

He has delivered 7 of my family members including myself and has been my primary dr for 31 years. He kept my father alive for 3 years while he waited for a liver to become available for transplant. No one said dad would make it a year but doc did his best and dad is still alive today. The city of pittsburg lost a great Dr when Cooper retired. GOD bless this man and his family.

I am in between primary care physicians and went here for an urgent visit. Overall he was just brusk and I felt like he was just rushing through the visit to get to the next patient. I didn't go here to be herded like cattle.

I have been going to him for the past few years. I think he is great. He has a great wealth of experience that supports his decisions. In reading the reviews I find it difficult that they are talking about the same physician. If someone wants a referral for a more specialized physician, either go to medical school or make the appointment yourself. That's why health care costs are so hight.

Would not refer me to a specialist.

I went here thinking that I would have a normal doctors appointment instead I got a lecture about my life. The entire time it was just someone else's religious views being shoved down my throat. My friend originally recommended me and so I thought it would be fine, but I was sorely disappointed. To be clear the staff was friendly and prompt, but it was the physician who really drags this place down.

I was not only lectured by the physician, but he also took the liberty of telling me that I was a sinner and needed to pray for forgiveness. Next time I want judgemental care on an opinion I'll be sure to call this office up.

Been going to him all my life (in my 30s now) and I've never had any problems with how he treats me or how he practices medicine.

Exceptionally good practice in a small town setting.
