Dr. Kent Baker Lawson

I WILL NEVER USE THIS DENTIST !!!!!! I am not a patient of Dr Lawson nor will I ever be after this experience. My fiancee was deceitfully sold "teeth whitening" denture vouchers under false pretenses by a company that Dr Lawson is affiliated with named New Line Smiles. Upon learning what these vouchers are actually for, we asked for a reimbursement and it has been a nightmare ever since. Dr Lawson is the local affiliate on and the provider marked on the flyer. We have filed BBB complaints and nothing has been done to satisfaction.I cant believe the terrible customer service we have experienced in dealing with Dr Lawson and New Line Smiles! Dr Lawson was very nasty when i explained the situation to him. We were misled in to giving money to these jerks

I was referred to Dr. Lawson by a friend and after having my teeth cleaned I scheduled a repair to a tooth that has been bonded. When I returned for the repair Dr. Lawson advised he would also repair another tooth, but no consult was provided about the increases cost. Worse though was Dr. Lawson's behavior. He was brusque, slightly rude to his own staff, they seemed disorganized about the materials necessary to do the work and then when I was finished he never gave me a mirror or said, how does it look to you. Well I get out to my car and find that my front tooth he was supposed to have repaired was bumpy and uneven, and shorter than it was before. I called to make an appointment to have it repaired and when I went in a week later Dr. Lawson was extremely rude to me telling me he doesn't know what I am talking about, he even suggested condescendingly, "I'll sharpen it to a point if that's what you want, but I just don't see what you're talking about." Nice. Great patient care! … I was furious, but frankly knew he would just screw it up again so I declined having him stick his fat hands in my mouth again. It's deplorable that a dentist that puts himself out as a professional would treat a patient so poorly. This story does have a happy ending because the work was done so poorly the smaller repair fell out on it's own. I got my original doctor to make the repairs and am so happy. Hard lesson, but glad it has had a happy ending that did not involve this terrible dentist.
