Very bad experience with this office. Accepts payments for services up front, pads the bill, send to the insurance company, then they want to charge you again for what the insurance company refuses to pay. Don't waste your time here, you'll regret it.

Charges are padded with what the insurance company allows. Patient is misled about the charges, and billed for additional amounts when the insurance company doesn't come through. Office staff is cold and looks uncomfortable in their surroundings. Doctor has poor bedside manners.

150.00 bill turn into a 1200 bill. He only pulled one wisdom tooth stated he had to do extra work. mouth feel deform in the back where he pulled my wisdom tooth. sometime I still feel pain in the area. This Dr know how to run up a insurance bill and make you pay more money out of pocket.

Very professional, Didn't feel a thing

Dr. Kent Moore is by far one of the most and well experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Oral Surgeon in Charlotte Metro area. Dr. Moore is very humble -a trait not usually observed among many fast pace professions. You will like the visit I guarantee you. I had some dental implant work done in his office and I have no better words to express the wonderful experience that I had during my treatment. The staff in his practice works pretty much as a team and patients are well treated just like family members. The waiting time in his office is consistent, almost 5-7 mins which is amazing!. Here is one bonus- this practice will prioritize treatment over other unforeseen circumstances. For me, this is the place because it doesn't get any better than this folks.

I have to say that the wisdom tooth extraction that was performed went well and I have no complaints. However, working with the payment department was unpleasant. I have a FSA account, all documented, and they requested an exorbitant amount as a down payment. I suggested to pay approximately 50% of the bill on the day of and see what the final payment due was after charges were processed by the insurance company. They refused rudely and I paid. Sure enough they owed me money and they had to send me a refund which I had to then deposit and send a check to reimburse the FSA account. I could have made one final payment! Now two years later, out of the blue, this office received a new EOB from the insurance company which sent them a check but because of the old 80/20 it came to me as well that I owed on this bill. AFTER TWO YEARS, I CONSIDER THIS BILL PAID IN FULL. They are adamant that I owe them this money - I should say WE because my daughter, the patient, who is now 21, is who… they are billing. She did not guarantee any kind of payment. It is my husbands insurance. I believe it is unethical to charge me now. They did not know there was a problem with the bill until they received a check from the insurance company. They should have been happy with the windfall and as good business practice waived the insurance suggested 20% to me. My point is when does it end? Can they come back two years from now and ask for more money? Can the mechanic, the contractor, etc...... When you get tough with them, they hang up the phone on you and block your number to call. They will not negotiate they just send the bill to collections. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE.

I had a root canaled tooth extracted that came out in pieces. I was sent to Dr. Moore by my dentist as a walk-in patient. Although Dr Moore seems to be very good at what he does, he was simultaneously caring and curt. He barely answered my questions. It was very obvious that they were fitting me in. I felt like the procedure was rushed. When I called about pricing beforehand I was told it would be $176. It ended up being over $900.

I had been putting off having my wisdom teeth removed for 20 years because I was so SCARED of the whole entire process! It finally had to be done because I kept having problems with one of them getting infected.Dr Moore and his WHOLE staff were INCREDIBLE!!! They were so nice and caring.Because of their compassion and knowledge, I finally got the courage to do this procedure that I had put off for so long. I highly recommend Dr Mooore! If I can do it, you can too!!!!! Luvvvv the Staff!!!!! :)))))))))

Dr. Moore:The most caring physician I have ever had. I was always welcome and treated with great care during my appointments. The waiting time in Dr. Moores office was always short and limited. I had a great pleasure getting to know all the nurses and other staffs members.My dental implants treatment was successful. I am very thankful to be the patient under the care of Dr. Moore.
