Dr. Kent Emerson Wallner, MD

My father was a doctor. He told me that his patients seldom cared what he knew about their illness, but they always knew how much he cared about them. He said that one of the keys to healing for his patients was the confidence they had that somebody cared. It comes down to the patient's will to live and to carry on with their lives with hope and optimism. Doctor Wallner practices medicine in that tradition. Though his skills are widely known, his caring attitude in a traumatic situation for the patient is in my opinion equally healing. On the day of my operation he actually took the time afterwards to call a friend of mine who was worried about me to assure her that the procedure was a complete success, and to inform her of the reasons why. Everybody should have such a physician. I cannot too highly recommend Dr. Wallner for those in need of his specialty, and my only regret is that he is not my GP doctor, someone I could see on a regular basis to keep me informed about the status of… my health and to send me to appropriate specialists if and when needed.
