Dr. Kent Satoshi Yamamoto, MD

I spent a month in the Rehab Hospital with Dr. Yamamoto and his exceptional team and could not have been more impressed with the experience, though I wish I did not have to be there of course. My injuries were many, including fractured cervical and thoracic vertebrae, broken and surgically repaired clavicle, broken foot, broken shoulder, ribs and a third degree burn on my thigh. Dr. Yamamoto and his team of nurses and physical therapists were incredibly attentive, engaged and detail oriented throughout my stay. In fact, I should point out that the housekeepers at the facility were as friendly and committed as I have ever seen, and I am a hospitality professional. In short, the entire experience with Dr. Yamamoto and everyone at this facility was exceptional in every way. They made a very difficult time tolerable and even enjoyable. Mahalo!

Dr Yamamoto is the best doctor! He is so compassionately and caring. I can never get back on my life if he did not set out the program and encouraged me to go thur it. He is very knowledgable. I highly recommend him for anyone needs rehab.

My mother suffered a severe stroke and was admitted to Rehab Hospital of the Pacific where Dr. Yamamoto is the attending physician assigned to all stroke recovery patients. He has been vital to my mother's rehabilitation both in the hospital and for her post hospital followup. He spent a lot of time with my mother and with our family answering our questions and helping us understand the recovery process. Although his certification is in physical medicine, he seemed knowledgeable in stroke and recovery. His assistant Sasha was also terrific in scheduling appointments, following up with paperwork and referrals. My mother is in physical therapy at the Rehab Hosp and he always stops and talks to her if we run in to him and is always genuinely concerned about her progress and recovery. We feel very fortunate that he is monitoring her and feel that we could call him at any time to ask a question or to discuss her care .

Life was hard, but your magical work made it easier. Even thought it was painful and tiring in the process of getting better, it felt good--that was the good pain of life. I would not come this far without you. Feel great to be caring of; feel lucky to be under your care, doctor!

And his staff is awesome too!!!!!
