Dr. Kenton Gleichman (Kent) grew up in Rockford, Ill. The oldest of three, he decided to follow a family tradition and become a Hawkeye after graduating from high school. He attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree. Kent continued his education by attending the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduating in 1983. He came to Des Moines after graduating and joined Dental Associates taking over the practice of Dr. Bernhart Hermann. Kent has enjoyed practicing with Dental Associates for 27 years.
Dr. Gleichman is a member of the American Dental Association, The Iowa Dental Association and the Des Moines District Dental Society. He is involved in the G.V. Black Dental Study Club and community dental education. One of his most memorable experiences was providing dental care to orphans on a mission trip to Mexico.
Dr. Gleichman and Cathy, his wife, have been married for 31 years and have three daughters. They …reside in West Des Moines. Allison graduated from the University of St. Louis and works in Chicago, Christina is in her second year of Dental School at Iowa and Anna is sophomore at Creighton University. Kent and Cathy are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In his spare time, Dr. Gleichman likes to spend time with his family and friends, traveling, snow skiing and playing golf.
