Dr. Kenton Allen Pate, MD

He’s very snarky and unprofessional in his tone and comments. He doesn’t seem to really care about the child or care to listen. He’s very Judgmental in his comments versus attentive to the patients. I’m shocked he’s a pediatrician. He doesn’t seem to like kids at all. My kids hate when they find out they have an appointment with him versus the other doctors. He makes me feel bad as a parent and never gives my children anything..just rest and stay hydrated is the norm and we are t talking for a stomach bug, which would be normal. I never met a kid doctor that is so serious and unfeeling.

Horrible. He’s rude every time I’ve taken my kids there. He doesn’t listen or seem to care. He doesn’t check my kids out and I’d say 9 times out of 10, he doesn’t give them anything when they are sick and gets mad if they go anywhere else for treatment for after hours. There’s a reason they go somewhere else. #1, the other doctors can see them right away, #2, the other doctors listen and care. #3, they don’t lecture the parents for seeking medical treatment somewhere else. They just care that the patient is treated. This is the worst doctor I’ve ever taken my kids to and they’ve gone to that office since they were born. They are now 16, 17, and 18. He makes it a business venture and gives a guilt trip versus caring about the child. The rest of the doctors there are amazing!!!!

I have nothing bad to say about a single doc in this facility, but today we had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Pate. He entered the room and immediately engaged our son and put him at ease. He was very soft spoken and had great bedside manner. Being the paranoid parents we are, Dr. Pate took time to address all of our concerns and did a thorough evaluation of our son. If you have the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Pate do so knowing you are in experienced hands. I would highly recommend him to any one in the area
