Dr Schoonover promises to go the extra mile to ensure that his patients are happy. He did not do this for me. In fact, I was told not to forget "Where I started from" I started at a very small A cup. I ended up with one breast much larger than the other. I told him about it, and he promised me he would make things right. Then, when it was time for my check up, he informed me that if he knew I would notice such a slight difference, he would not have operated on me. I then decided to get another opinion. I am schedualed with a real surgeon to fix the problem that Mr Schoonover has caused! By him not wanting to correct or "go the extra mile to insure his patients happiness" I am having to pay another surgeon MORE money to fix this guys mistake. Rude, uncaring, and all about the money! Do not go to him unless you want a messed up breast augmentation!

Dr. Schoonover did an awesome job removing my 8 year old son's birth mark on this forehead. He is a very passionate Dr and knows what he is doing our experience with him is amazing and I would recommend his to friends and family. He is a an amazing Dr and we are thankful for his .

Dr. Schoonover performed Smartlipo on my chin and neck and I couldn't be more impressed by the results! I've had a few other procedures done by him as well and have been beyond pleased every time. Before deciding to do Smartlipo, Dr. Schoonover explained the procedure to me in detail and seemed to be very excited about how it could transform a part of my body that I had always been self conscious of. The level of care he showed was incredible and I felt completely comfortable trusting him. Following my procedure, Dr. Schoonover checked up on me several times and seemed just as excited about the results as I was. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a cosmetic surgeon!

He is caring and honest. I totally trusted him to rebuild me a new set of girls after a double mastectomy. There were no surprises because he and his staff told me everything in advance so I never got worried or nervous. On a scale from 1-10, I'd rate him at 20. I have heard many bad stories of other surgeons, so I know I am blessed to have found him.

Having 3 babies in 4.5 years completely wrecked my poor tummy. I'm in shape everywhere else and constantly was getting asked when I was due. I was embarrassed and very self conscious. I 100% trusted him as soon as I met him. He made me feel at ease and confident with my decision to move forward with surgery. I could tell he truly enjoys his job by how he explained everything and that made me feel even better about my choice. I'm 3 weeks post op and even though I'm swollen, still moving more slowly and tucker out more easily, the results are already pretty amazing. I cannot wait to see a before!/after at my 6 months post op. I feel so confident with myself again. That alone was worth every penny spent, every frustrating tear the first week after surgery when I couldn't even recline a chair on my own... Also, seeing my kids reaction has made it wirth it too. They keep telling me how excited they are to see me happy and see how I my tummy was supposed to look. It's super sweet. :)… Oh, word of caution. If you have allergies, schedule your surgery around a non allergy time of year and don't watch any comedies after surgery for a couple of weeks. Sneezing and laughing make it feel like you're burning from the inside out. It's horrible! But other than that, if he says your going to look and feel great, trust him. You really are! :)

I had extensive reconstructive surgery after a major weight loss. Dr Schoonover was respectful and had a plan for what I personally needed. Highly recommended.

I ask my husband to go with me at first consultation, to help me understand what info we were getting, on the Tummy Tuck procedure, and price. The first impression with the receptionist was very pleasant, and I was taken back by an outstanding professional, but friendly nurse, who didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all! Dr Schoonover came in very promptly, with a good bed side manner, and proceeded to answer any questions while he viewed my stomach, which was had very wide, thin skin stretch marks, from being young when first baby was born at age of 19, and then another pregnancy Having babies 11 months apart, gallbladder surgery above naval at 23, my third child at 25, I never over 130 pounds, and birthed 8 & 9 lb. babies, only gaining 22 pounds with all three pregnancies ! I also had hysterectomy scars, my tummy looked like a map of deep rivers ! Dr Schoonover told me that he was confident that he could get rid of all the scars, plus do muscle repair! I told him it was okay IF… he couldn't get all the many scars, I just really wanted to get rid of the apron I had developed, which gets irritated sweating, and kept me from purchasing jeans ! His scheduling made an appointment 2 weeks a way, and she is so sweet and pleasant. We ask about financial help, so while I gave her needed info my husband called Care Credit, and we were accepted right there in less than 10 minutes, with a price. I never felt nervous because I was so excited that it cost much less than my daughter in law paid in KC, Via Christi Staff was amazing, very professional, friendly, worked as a team to get me comfortable, antithesis came in , and spoke to me with a partner, ask me my history of being put under, and Dr Schoonover came in a spoke to us, drew surgical lines, and explained everything, promptly taken back, they had given me extra topical medication to help me not get sick after recovery, I did very well, they were busy getting me comfortable, and serving me snacks, and beverages. I had 2 drainage tunes which I was told about prior to surgery, was wrapped in compression bandage, was a little sore, and Dr Schoonover was very very helpful in keeping me out of pain with awesome meds, because I am very pain tolerant after having back surgery, I have built up a tolerance for most pain medication, because nothing could touch the back pain, with complications, and now disabled because of the botch job I had having back surgery, I live with chronic pain everyday, my Tummy Tuck is a miracle, belly button looks great, I am healing very well 5 wks post opt, I have had 2 follow up appointments already to remove drains 1 week later, and 2nd one 2 weeks later, scheduled Monday for follow up with Dr Schoonover, not one stretch mark, gallbladder scar home, plus hysterectomy scar gone. It is truly stunning how I feel, and look! Can't wait to get breast reduction, and lift. He is the best! Oh, IF you decide to get this done, I also highly recommend the pain pump that automatically gives you pain medication it was an extra $340.00, but we'll worth it, I took care oft self after 24 hours, and getting up sooner is better! My daughter in law that I spoke of before, had hers done 1 yr ago this month, she still has little stretch marks under her belly button! Nothing compared to what I started with, and I do not have ANY â?¤ï¸?
