Dr. Kenyon Mala Chavis, MD

Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor. I would not recommend him to anyone. I don’t think he looked away from his computer once to look at me, seemed very uninterested in anything i said, and when i brought up concerns he didn’t address them. I would bring up a concern and he would say “anything else?” and never actually talked about anything I brought up. After me voicing all my concerns, no conversation just a “I’ll prescribe you ibuprofen and request labs.” When i responded and said that’s the same thing we did when i was here 3 months ago for the same issue, he told me if i wanted a different plan of action I can request a different doctor. Which is exactly what i did, I’m just upset i wasted 4 months on him and am still dealing with the same daily pains as when i first same him with absolutely no answers. Same yourself some time and get a different doctor who actually cares.

Not impressed with dr chavis.bad bed side manor,doesnt seem concerned with patients. Some of the PA 's at Harnett family medicine are better than him.sorry,wish I could be more positive.

I really enjoy going to Harnett Family Medicine and seeing Dr. Chavis as he is caring to my concerns, discusses things we can do and genuinly cares for his patients. :D
