Dr. Kerem Ozer, MD

Dr Kerem Ozer is INCREDIBLE. I have very rarely met a doctor like him, he is compassionate, understanding and, most importantly, takes a lot of time to explain everything in medical terms so you can understand what is going on with you and why it is happening. He writes everything down for you and even prints out information about your condition for you to read. He is also respectful of your needs. In my case, I am very curious and ask a lot of questions, well Dr Ozer always spends a lot of time with me answering them and making me feel safe and understood, which is so important in healthcare. He also will follow up with you by phone and value your opinion when it comes to what route to take in your treatment. The office staff and nurses have also been nice to me, I have never had to wait for very long.

The ONLY thing I can fault Dr Ozer for is how difficult it is to get an appointment in less than 2 months. In every other regard Dr. Ozer is highly competent and skilled. But I could also say that to EVERYONE I've encountered on the staff at Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology. I have a good friend in another state far away who used to be my physician. For a while after every visit I used to call him up and ask whether the treatments recommended were correct and did they reflect the most progressive treatments for my conditions. In every case except one I was informed that yes, the tests and treatments were very thorough . The only time i didn't get that response was an admission from my friend that a treatment recommended was more progressive than any he'd heard of, a new first for him! I can't say enough good about Texas diabetes and Endocrinology.
