Dr. Kermanshahi Soheila Jafari, MD

Several months of pain trying to find a pain management doctor who could see me asap. everyone i called had at least a 6 week wait. then i ran across dr jafari who was able to see me in 2 days. she wasted no time in arranging ex rays and an MRI on the same day. and prescribed some relief until my follow up visit. the day of my follow up with results in hand she saw i had 3 herniated disks, severe arthritis and bulging disks. i found it starnge when she asked when was the last time i had eaten but soon found out why. she excused herself and returned to ask me if i could have a procedure at the hospital, that same afternoon and had it all arranged, no wait. she refused to allow me to walk around in pain any longer. a few hours later i was in the or suite where she knocked me out did her majic and needless to say today, the day after her procedure i woke up in no pain, just a little soreness and took no pain meds. she was attentive, sweet, kind patient..as i ask tons of questions… and tend to investigate everything thats going to be done to me. she was born to do what she does, no doubt to that. when i woke up she was at my side a few moments later, smiling and explaining further findings with the progression of my arthritis, films in hand and explained everything in laymen terms. prior physicians just wanted to pump me with pills which is why i went looking for someone else. Dr Jafari is a keeper and not necessary to mention, she is gorgeous, lol not an old bald fuddy duddy doctor. I would highly recommend her, and have already to anyone seeking complete comprehensive informed and quality care.

I was admitted at new York Methodist hospital in Brooklyn for low back pain, she treated me like her mother, spent over 50 min. With me explaining the epidural steroid injection and did the procedure under x- ray after 1 day I was able to stand and walk again. She checked on me everyday I fell much better and very thankful.
