Dr Lloyd is very caring and very good at his job He stays up on the newwest treatments and knows his patients and listens to them.

DR Lloyd was nice and personable, but at the same time condescending patronizing. I have severe progressive nerve damage in my right foot and part of my leg. It is debilitating and painful and it was a nightmare. He would always compare me to other people that had it worse. Even serviceman that have been wounded, like he was trying to make me feel guilty because I'm complaining about my little old nerve damage. I can appreciate other peoples maladies, but it doesn't make my pain any less. He ordered tests for me MRIs, MG's and he prescribe me gabapentin and lyrica as my pain became worse the gabapentin and lyrica we're not working and I begin to ask him for other medications and now he's accusing me I'm trying to get drugs I guess you get high. That was the implication in a letter he sent me. He never even advised me that I could have drop foot surgery, I called a Robin Vargo an orthopedic surgeon on my own and she did the surgery and I am recovering and I think my foot will be better… than ever. No thanks to dr. Lloyd. And no thanks Riverside pain management who were useless to me. I went through having a spinal cord stimulator trial for a week, and then nothing no surgeon would do the permanent stimulator I even went to University of Virginia and talk to a doctor there and I never heard back from him. I decided to see another neurologist for a second opinion, and what he could do for my pain even if it meant prescribing narcotics I've read lots of articles where narcotics are prescribed for nerve damage when other medications fail to work. Dr Lloyds clinical coordinator referred me to a doctor Singh, because she said I couldn't see another neurologist within the same group. I get a letter from Dr Lloyd saying that he's dropping me as a patient because I'm seeing this neurologist and saying that I'm asking for drugs. Hello! I was asking for drugs because I'm N excruciating pain. He just doesn't get it

My prior doctor died and Dr. Lloyd fit me in on a Friday evening so my treatments wouldn't be impacted. He is the best neuro I have had in 20 years with MS. He is willing to listen to me, to try new treatments, and spends as much time as needed. He even returned my call himself when I requested it. He is super knowledgable about MS and keeps up to date on the latest. He has my complete confidence, so much that I took my husband to him when he started having problems. You can't do better!

I have the upmost confidence in Dr. Lloyd, I appreciate his care of me and the needs of my family at this serious illness in my life.
