Dr Kerri Ann Kissell

As always, Dr. Kissell was thorough in my visit. She is always polite, friendly and professional. When other Drs downplayed my adrenal gland tumor, she networked with Mayo Clinic and figured out the next step - she is a great Dr. I highly recommend her!

I finally found a doctor that was knowledgeable about my condition & gave me my quality of life back. She spent as much time as I needed to give me the tools to control it with diet & lifestyle. Same with my sister who has the same condition. The problem became that the office kept triple booking her which I'm sure us why she chose to leave the practice. The complaints here, many of them, regarding scheduling, are not her fault. I am now in search of a new practitioner & none have the expertise & compassion she does. Thanks Guthrie for pushing her away.

Keri is amazing, she actually cares about her patients, listens to them, I can not recommend her enough. I went through several doctors to deal with my condition and she is the only one that ever cared enough to find out what was going on rather than mask my symptoms! Some negatives are she is a very busy lady, appointments do get canceled a lot, and there is usually a wait time. She is hard to take sometimes but I think she is stressed with having a busy practice, and being a single parent.

This Dr. is amazing she knows her stuff..She has given my 16 year old daughter her life back! How does a person express their gratitude for that because words aren’t enough! If you ever let this Dr. go you be making a huge mistake...she has a gift!

We had to wait months before seeing dr Kissel and the day of our appointment her office called and canceled because of emergencies they said . Only an hour notice for us as well. So we rescheduled and waited another month for the next appointment. The SAME THING HAPPENED . The morning of our appointment they called about an hour prior and canceled saying the dr had emergencies. Now the first time I understand but the second time is not acceptable! She is an arrogant dr who has no respect for her patients. I do not recommend her. We will find care elsewhere.

Kerri Kissel saw my on my first appt and sent me straight to the ER bc my BP was high. She commented "do I need to call an ambulance or can I trust you will go there without going to McDonalds?" This should have been the first sign for me to NEVER see her again. But I went back. The next appt was all students, she literally just stuck her head in. At this appointment, they insisted I start diabetes weight loss shots, even though this is not what I wanted. I had lost 40lbs on my own and do not have diabetes. She insisted. My ins denied them every time, so she told me to continue metformin, even though this was making me sick. I saw her one other time, again pushing the weight loss shots. That was enough for me. Fast forward a year during my yearly my dr finds a nodule on my thyroid which turned out to be cancerous. Kerri Kissel never once placed her hands on me, and because my thyroid blood levels were fine, she ignored the thyroid. Disgusted by the 'care' she delivers. … If you want weight loss shots, she's your girl, but if you are looking for a doctor to listen, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!

she is one of the most arrogant, disrespectful person I ever met. She seems to be so hateful towards patients that I feel she should quit medical practice as it involves patient interaction. One of the worst physician ever. Please avoid her!!!!

Review blood sugar tests, check feet/pulse, thyroid check, as well as injuries and treatment of said injuries backed up by research and previous experience. I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Kissell returned to Guthrie, and hope she stays for a long time. Being in education for over 40 years leads me to believe this doctor was at the top of her class from grade school through medical school. Guthrie has made a wonderful choice in Dr. Kissell; for my sake, I hope she stays..

For the most result, I found her nice and "on the ball". Explains things so that I understood what I was hearing.
