Dr. Kerrie Lynn Adams

Dr. Adams is an exceptional and compassionate specialist. After months of uncertainty and discouraging experiences elsewhere, she was the first physician who took the time to listen carefully, review every detail of my history, and explain her findings with clarity and empathy. Her expertise in complex postpartum bladder injuries is outstanding. She approached my case thoughtfully and methodically, identifying the true cause of my symptoms and validating what I had been experiencing for months. Dr. Adams didn’t just treat my condition—she helped me understand it, which gave me back a sense of control and hope. She is thorough, kind, and genuinely invested in her patients’ recovery. Every visit left me feeling heard, respected, and supported. I am deeply grateful for her knowledge, her honesty, and the care she provides. I cannot recommend Dr. Adams highly enough to anyone seeking expert, compassionate urogynecologic care.

I made an appointment to see Dr Adams for a uterine prolapse. She was very knowledgeable and listened to what I had to say. She pointed out several options that were available to repair the issue. Dr Adams was direct in her delivery of the diagnosis and treatment options. I personally find this refreshing. She was compassionate. I had my surgery in June and was pleased with the outcome and follow up. I would recommend her to anyone needing her expertise.

I had my appointment with her today 02/15/2023 for a cervical prolapse consultation for surgery. I was basically told that my only option was to have a hysterectomy to fix it. Meaning I couldn’t have any more kids. I am 27 yrs old and was told by a couple Urogynocologist that there were options for me that would still let me have more kids but when i brought this to her attention she made me feel those doctors were completely wrong and kept on insisting that was my only option…And when i slightly interrupted her about what exactly was going on with my cervix she was very rude and disrespectful and said “can i finish what i was saying before you interrupt me”… she hadn’t even done an exam on me before speaking on what she didn’t know about what was going on with me.. she didn’t even try to be gentle in telling me that I basically had no options as far as fixing this and only option was to have a hysterectomy… my fiancé was there to witness the whole thing and he was shocked at how i was… being treated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER. I was bawling almost the entire 10 minutes i was in my appointment with her.. i cut it short as i felt very uncomfortable and hurt. She was very disrespectful, rude and cold.

Spent a lot of time with me. Gentle exam. I could tell she cared. Would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

Dr Adams was patient and kind. Would definitely recommend her

She is the condescending individual I've ever encountered. I ended up thanking her for her time and cutting the visit short. She made me feel uncomfortable. Please see another provider, don't even waste your time.

If I could give zero star to Dr. Kerrie Adam, believe me I would! I had a horrible experience with her this morning, on Thanksgiving Day. I am 9 months pregnant, just about two days ago I was told that my amnionic fluid dropped from 11 from 7 over a weekend, and if it continues to drop around 5 I might need to be induced then. The nurse scheduled an emergency appointment the day before thanksgiving and result came out to be 7 again, I did have one appointment scheduled on Friday months ago to check the fluid level but I was concerned the level might drop in between Wednesday and Friday, so the doctor said I could come in next day which is Thanksgiving day for another test. I came in this morning. Since its Thanksgiving Day I will have to do the ultrasound at the Radiology department, result came out to be 3.8 which is very low. Then the nurse said the Radiology department is not used to do the fluid level test, so Dr. Kerrie Adams will come in to do another one just to be sure. Two… hours later, she walked in. No introduction, no greeting, the first thing she said to me was “I don’t understand why we are doing this every day”. Then she did the test very quickly and told me “it’s around 7, you don’t have to come in tomorrow”, At first I was not trying to argue with her, but she kept on and on about “I just don’t understand why we have to do this every day, after the test tomorrow, are you still going to come Saturday & Sunday too?!” The entire time she was in my room, she was mean, cold and condescending, I felt like I was being interrogated like a prisoner. I started to argue with her and cry and tell her to stop talking, she even said “ I am sorry I upset you, but tomorrow I will still be here, no matter how much you hate me, you will still have to deal with me!” It appears that the doctor believed the incompetent performance of the original ultrasound by Radiology is the patients fault. After she left the room, I told the nurse that I do not want her to deliver my baby, actually I do not want her anywhere near my baby. I have dealt with Dr. Kim Hui, Dr. Rebecca Sandoval, Midwife Jessica from the same clinic, I had great experience with every single of them and none of them had bad attitude like she does. I came home and checked out her reviews on Google, RateMDs.com, Yelp, Vitals.com and CareDash.com, not surprised at all to find out she received a lot of negative reviews about her horrible bedside manners. As a patient, I deserve to receive considerate and respectful care as indicated in the Scripps Patients Rights and Responsibilities Manual, unfortunately the treatment I received from Kerrie Adam said otherwise. One review I read from RateMD.com, here I quote “Kerrie, you are the one with an MD and you are the one who gets to wear the title and reap the paycheck of being a 'doctor', yet somehow you are a bully to your patients”, I could not agree more. All these negative reviews clearly reflected Kerrie Adams showed zero interest/care to the patients. The doctors demeanor is not a simply matter of a bad bedside manner, it is an negligent act that can result in patients avoiding even the most necessary care. As can be seen in previous patient reviews and responses by the hospital, the administration is well aware of a consistent pattern of unacceptable behavior and is unable or unwilling to rectify the situation. As for me, I am extremely disappointing and traumatized with this morning’s experience, I hope the Scripps Leadership Team can take this issue seriously and I will continue to file a formal complaint against her as well until I get a response for my concern.

I have gone to the Scripps 5th avenue office before, but should have looked up Dr. Kerrie Adams before going in for my annual exam. Would NOT recommend her to anyone. When she walked in (late) she didn’t introduce herself or the other TWO people that came into the room. I asked a few questions before she started and she made me feel like a complete idiot. I was already uncomfortable with the other two people in the room who she didn’t introduce or ask if I was ok with them being there, but then making me feel stupid the entire time as I asked a few questions made it even worse. I looked up her reviews after getting home and each one echoed the same treatment by Dr. Adams. She made me feel uncomfortable from start to finish. Terrible experience.

I am genuinely not too sure how Dr. Adams is a 'Dr' or why she is. I wish I had done my due diligence prior to my appointment and looked at all the reviews of her online. I would have never wasted my time. From the moment I walked into the clinic on 5th ave, the staff was irritated and it was a very bad vibe in the office. Dr. Adams came into my room and did not introduce herself, and was condescending the entire time I was there- to a point I was questioning if I was crazy to actually want to get an issue with my breasts checked out (that has been happening for 6 months and I have had tests done that have been recorded in the Scripps System). She clearly didn't bother looking at any of them because she said 'I am confused as to what is even going on since I can't see the results' When I asked her to look....she saw the records. She made me feel incompetent the entire time I was in the room, insisting she didn't have any idea what was going on- looking confused (although the… botox between eyebrows eased her look), the entire time I was there. She insisted she didn't have any medical records- when I have only gone to Scripps Mercy...and it was all there when I asked her to check. She made me feel like I was wasting her time, and it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Dr. Adams, you are the one with an MD and you are the one who gets to wear the title and reap the paycheck of being a 'doctor', yet somehow you are a bully to your patients. Get more botox on your forehead, maybe then your patients will stop commenting on your perplexed look. I left the appointment with her telling me my issue was just 'another weird thing going on in the world'. Seriously, you are a DOCTOR and that's the 'answer' you give your patients? When I left, I felt like I was in a satire on medical professionals in America. Kerrie Adams, you're a joke.
