Dr Kerry Hammond is a dr that listens and cares about each patient! She is willing to take on challenging cases with professionalism and intense research to get to the root of intestinal issues!

In the Fall of 2015, Dr Hammond, then with MUSC in Charleston, SC, performed surgery on my husband. He had contracted an infection with sepsis and we didn’t know his prognosis. Dr. Hammond preformed successful surgery and supervised subsequent care which restored him. She is an EXCELLENT surgeon and Bedford is fortunate to have her. She was my doctor in Charleston SC and she in my opinion is the best. she often was short in her visit to my room but her talent in the OR was at its best. I am actively searching for her to become her patient again even if I have to drive 6 hours for an office visit.
