Dr. Kerry B Kamer

This guy was a clown show from the start. My wife had a kidney transplant and he was giving her a physical examination but, had no idea where transplanted kidneys were relocated. He made me leave the room so he could be alone with my wife. Then he argued with my wife over immunosuppressants, she even had to let him know that Mycophenolate is the generic for Celcept. He constantly cut her off while trying to answer his questions. Even though she has a bad lower back he actually had her lie on the floor to get a foot X-ray. When she came out and told me of her experience I was going in to confront this guy. My wife teared up and asked, can we please just go home? After we got home Petra told me how rude and authoritative he was. I'm going to stop writing now...

My immigration exam with Dr. Kamer went very smoothly.. I'm sure the 1 star reviews have reason for their own, but my experience was great. He was friendly and professional and I was in and out of the appointment very quickly. Turn up an hour or so early (as they mention before the appointment), as the paperwork can take some time to fill out.

He was rude and interrupted me while trying to answer his questions. He barked his questions at me like he was angry about something. I could hardly stand to be in the Room with his energy.

I was glad to come here and find similar reviews. I felt completely dismissed in my exam and I was barely able to speak or anything as he seemed in a big rush. When I tried to say something, he would change the subject. He was obviously just seeking to find a way to deny me. I am so angry that we are treated this way and that he has treated people this way for at least years as these reviews are fairly old. :(

Dr. Kamer was incredibly rude. He interrupted me while I was trying to answer his questions, and refused to give any clarification on what he meant by his question. He did not know Glumetza was used to treat diabetes or that propranolol can be used for migraine prophylaxis. He was obviously had not looked at my history, made baseless accusations, and treated me like scum. Dehumanizing. As I was leaving, I asked if he needed information on my diagnoses of two auto immune disorders, and he didn't even know I had them. Incompetent and dishonestly biased against patients who just need him to look at the facts.

Dr. Kamer was gruff and rude. He barked his questions and sneered at the answers. His agenda was obviously more towards disqualification than proof of medical issues. Despite knowing I have depression and severe anxiety he interrupted nearly every answer I attempted to give and used touch and body language to intimidate. In summary, awful.

After reading such horrible reviews, I was not looking forward to my appointment. My experience was quite the opposite. I found Dr. Kamer to be very courteous, compassionate, respectful, and professional.

I had a consultation with him. It was a disaster! He was upset that I couldn't get there 2 HOURS EARLY! It was a holiday weekend and they had cancellations before me. He was abrupt, argumentative, and wouldn't let me fully communicate my medical issues. He adamantly argued that "there is NO such thing as a Laminotomy!" Really? I've actually had the procedure done twice. (Fully documented even!) Where did he get his Doctorate? I think he missed a class. Bottom line is, he was a JERK!
