There is no way this woman should be working with people in crisis. This is the second time I've had to go to the er. He was the attending physician both times. He is extremely short with his patients. Often brushing off any concerns. The nurse had told him I was experiencing a pain seemingly unrelated to the reason I was sent to the er. He said "that is a problem for another day" and walked out. It was recommended by an "OB" who was oncall that I was given this specific medication. When I asked for counseling about said medication he said he didn't know anything. To google it and he would be back and then walked out. I called him back in to request to speak with the oncall OB. He refused to call him in as it was 6pm on a Friday night. I later found out the man he was referring to was a general surgeon and not even qualified to give OB advice. I brought this up to him and he said said "oh well call me when you make a desision" and again walked out slamming the door. I decided at… this point to request a patient advocate because he was extremely rude. This man is short tempered and in my opinion much too told and impatient to be working on the emergency room. He was recommending a treatment for me that he himself had no idea what it was or what it did. He offered me no information what so ever, not even a print out from the Internet. Telling a patient to google something is completely unacceptable and bad medical practice. Also, once I spoke to a supervisor he no longer checked on me. He would only send nurses to relay information. Again completely unprofessional. Especially for an emergency room practice!!!
